My current work began with a random assortment of drawings, images, and objects in my studio. The ceramic forms rely on Minimalism’s emphasis on primary structures whereas the mark making is crafted from musical concepts such as rhythm, repetition, and improvisation, which have guided the arrangement of elements on the form’s surfaces.
