심차 이븐 첸은 움직임에 제약을 주지 않으면서 시각적인 의미를 주는 “자유로운” 입체 공간과 평면인 기하학적 표면 사이의 관계를 탐구한다. 깨질 수 있다는 포슬린의 물성을 활용하여 유기적이고 자유로우며 정의되지 않은 형태를 완성하였다. 그의 작품은 찌그러짐, 움직임, 색상, 패턴, 유동성으로 대변되는 새로운 사이의 공간(텅 빈 이미지)에 대하여 질문하고 있다.

Simcha Even-Chen is investigating the relationship between “free” three-dimensional space and two-dimensional geometric surfaces, giving visual meaning without restricting the movements. Taking advantage of the property of the porcelain to collapse, she can achieve organic, free, and non-defined shapes. Her artworks deal with the questions of new inter-space (void image) created by the collapse, motion, color, patterns, and fluidity.
