Taking classical Greek ceramics as his inspiration, Ray Church satirises political issues of today. The artist replaces historical scenes with provocative contemporary narratives. The style of decoration, shape and patterns are easy for us to look at because they are so familiar, until we recognise the dark subject matters within.
