할슈타트 박물관에서 영감을 받아 제작한 나의 작품들은 고대 유물을 재해석한 것이다. 작품의 특징을 살리기 위하여 나는 손 작업 흔적들을 남겨 관람객들이 볼 수 있게 하였다. 성형을 마친 날 점토 표면을 새들의 아름다운 깃털에서 영감을 얻은 선명한 색상의 강렬한 문양으로 장식하였다.
Hallstatt pieces are expressive interpretations of ancient forms. To give the work a vital character, I keep the traces of the hand- building process visible. In its raw state, I paint considerately yet forcefully with vibrant colors inspired by the beauty of the plumage of birds.
