The theme of GICB 2011 is <Journey from Fire>. To fulfill its mission, GICB embarks on a 'journey.' This is a journey of adventurous exploration bound for the vast outside world rather than returning to the inside of 'ceramics'. We also explored new potential of ceramics alive and breathing in everyday life through fusion of ceramics with all other genres of art such as high art and crafts, and music and performance art.
