Past Biennale

The 1st Biennale 2001

The first Biennale was held in 2001 with the ambition to make the Icheon World Ceramic Center a mecca for contemporary ceramic art. Under the theme of <Shaping the Future with Earth>, the first Biennale largely consisted of the International Competition, Invitational Exhibitions, International Ceramic Workshop, and International Ceramic Symposium.
